    Video Description:

  • This is a short video of my Blue Spotted Jawfish, housed in my 29 gallon BioCube reef aquarium. The house that he resides in consists of a barnacle skeleton which has been glued to a PVC enclosure which sits under the sand. A photo of the contraption can be found here: http://is.gd/pAVh Also in this video, Australian Dendrophyllia (the yellow/orange coral), Purple Death Palys (the polyps on the left) and Nuclear Green Palys (the polyps on the right). The shelled animal sitting behind the Barnacle+PVC house is a Fighting Conch. This video is also a test of my new camcorder, the DXG 595V - which captures 1080P video. This particular shot was done in the cameras macro mode. The colors are a bit washed out, but over all, not too bad for a sub-$200 HD consumer camcorder.
