  • WetWorx skimmer in action running off of a modified MiniJet 404 powerhead. In the video it's only been running for a few hours... but it looks good so far in my opinion. Once it gets broken in a little I'll have to adjust the air mixture (which also controls the amount of water going into the skimmer) to keep from wet skimming too much.The skimmer is sitting in the tank right now (10 gallon) because I underestimated the amount of splashing from the water returning to the tank. So I have to make another Home Depot run to get a couple more parts so that it can sit behind the tank as I planned on in the beginning.Over all, I'm really happy with it. After I adjusted the air mixture to where I like it, I have it skimming pretty well (a little wet, but still doing great) and have reduced the amount of micro bubbles that were getting into the tank.
