    no. I do have a small fan mounted above the tank. I have a controller. If the temp is above 78 the fan kicks on. As a secondary precaution if the tank reaches 83 the halides kick off. The only time I have seen the lights kick off is when i had the fan off. Ill take a $12 fan over a $400 chiller anyday.
