  • This is a video of a rare peppermint lionfish, Dendrochirus bellus. Normally this subtropical species is found arounf Japan and Taiwan, somehow this guy showed up in the American marine ornamental fish trade. He is being house in a coolwater aquarium, about 70-72F. He was eating pelleted foods within two days.
