  • this tank is 40 Gal and has one 250 Watt 14K MH lamp on it. No actinics or other lights. Photoperiod is 12 hrs. There is also a 75 Gal Sump full of Chaeto in teh basement that is plumbed to this tank. I believe is very low maintance tanks. This tank is setup for a little over a year and I have done 1 25%water change in that entire period. The only reason i did the water change was because I was away from home for 3 months and the tank was over fed durign that time resulting in a bubble algae problem which is under control now. I feed every other day or sometimes once every 3 days. I also spot feed the anemonies with the same flake food that I feed the fish
